Stampede Weekly Update: Stampede Pride Night & Social Media Night Highlight Home Games

Stampede continue homestand this weekend vs Lincoln & Waterloo

The Stampede (20-9-2) continue their four-game homestand tomorrow (Tuesday) when they host Lincoln at 7:05 PM. The Herd will then host Waterloo on Friday at 7:05 PM and close out the week with a road game in Kearney, Neb. against Tri-City on Saturday.

The Stampede enter this week in fourth place in the Western Conference, just one point behind Sioux City for third. The top four teams in each Conference qualify for the playoffs this season.

Last week, the Herd won in Fargo 5-3 on Tuesday before dropping back-to-back games at home versus Tri-City.

Stampede Pride Night tomorrow

Tomorrow (Tuesday) night is Stampede Pride night at the Arena. Fans are encouraged to wear their Stampede gear at the game as we celebrate 15 years of Stampede hockey!

Fans who wear their Stampede jersey to the game can take advantage of Bogo beers during the first period! Buy a 16-oz beer at regular price and get the second FREE! This special 2-for-1 offer is valid from when doors open at 6:15 PM until the end of the first period.

Social Media Night this Friday

Don't miss the first ever Stampede "Social Media Night," presented by Be Well South Dakota this Friday night. The first 1,000 fans through the doors will receive a FREE Stampede rally towel, compliments of Be Well South Dakota .

The Stampede will be interacting with fans throughout the game on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Starting today, the Herd will be running contests daily on our social media outlets, giving fans a chance to win special prizes every day leading up to Friday night.

Inside Stampede Hockey live from Buffalo Wild Wings tonight

Inside Stampede Hockey broadcasts live from the West Ave. Buffalo Wild Wings tonight (Monday) from 5-6 PM . It will officially kick off "Social Media Week" as Louis Nanne and David Jacobson will be answering fans questions during the show through the Stampede's Twitter page @sfstampede.

During the show, fans will hear from head coach Cary Eades about this past weekend and look ahead to three games in five days. Plus, Jim Olander will be joined by Nanne and Terra Zahn from Be Well South Dakota.

The Stampede recently announced that they will be playing in the new state-of-the-art Denny Sanford Premier Center starting next fall.
