
Stampede Waive Hood; Add Strickland

BOISE, Idaho, January 18, 2014 - The Idaho Stampede has acquired guard Dexter Strickland from the league's player pool. In conjunction with this move, Idaho has waived guard Antoine Hood.
Strickland (6-3, 180, North Carolina) most recently played in France with SO Maritime Boulogne. Strickland also played with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2013 NBA Summer League. Before his professional career, he played three years at North Carolina and helped his team to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.
The Stampede expect Strickland to wear number 17 and be in uniform tonight when they host the Santa Cruz Warriors.
