Idaho Stampede News Release

BOISE, Idaho, November 2, 2009 - Your Idaho Stampede announced today they will play a preseason game against the Utah Flash on Monday, November 23 at 7 p.m. MST at Burley High School in Burley, Idaho. This will be the third year the Stampede have played their preseason game in the Magic Valley.

"I look forward to continuing this tradition at Burley High School," said Stampede Head Coach Bob MacKinnon. The series is knotted at one-and-one and I hope the Magic Valley community comes out to support our quest to go one up in this series."

Fans in attendance will get a taste of NBA style basketball, along with family entertainment, as the Stampede will put together fan interactive contests and performances by the Stampede's lovable mascot AAA Rumble.

"I am excited to have this level of basketball in this venue, to be this close to the players and to be able to see how the coaches operate and how the game functions," said Burley resident, Stampede season ticket holder and organizer of the event, Bob Brice. "You're going to be right in the middle of the action, plus a level of play that you don't get to see that often here. I am thrilled about being able to bring this to the community."

Tickets for the preseason match between the Stampede and Flash are going fast. Tickets range from $6 for upper level seats to $10 for lower level seating. Fans can call Jeanne Kerbs with Burley High School at (208) 878-6606 to purchase tickets. All the proceeds from the game go directly to Burley High School athletics.
