Stampede to Offer Youth Basketball Camp

BOISE, ID (February 19, 2003) â The Idaho Stampede, along with 3FOR3 Productions, LLC, will present FASTCAMP, a youth basketball camp for boys and girls ranging from third to sixth grade. The camp will be held during spring break, from March 24 â 28, at Centennial High School.
FASTCAMP will focus on the basic fundamentals of basketball while promoting fun and sportsmanship. Through the combined efforts of 3FOR3 Productions, LLC and the Idaho Stampede, Idaho's only professional basketball team, participants will be treated to five days of basketball in a fun and safe environment.
There are two scheduled sessions per day, with the boys going from 8 a.m. to 12-noon, and the girls going from 1 â 5 p.m. All sessions will be conducted in the Centennial High School gymnasium, located 12400 W. McMillan Rd. in Boise. The price for the camp is $100 and registration is due by March 17.
During the week, FASTCAMP participants will:
- Learn the fundamentals of basketball, such as shooting, passing and defense
- Play 5 on 5 games
- Compete in several competitions
- Work with the FASTCAMP staff on an individual basis
