Stampede to Hold Speakers Series

BOISE, ID, August 27, 2010 - The Idaho Stampede, in conjunction with The Grove Hotel and Qwest Arena, announced today they will offer a networking program for up-and-coming business and community leaders in the Treasure Valley.

The Idaho Stampede Young Leaders program will have six scheduled speakers talk before five home games: Gary Michael, retired CEO of Albertson's, Inc., Mark Rivers, a downtown Boise developer, Linda Copple-Trout, retired Chief Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court, and Jim Grigsby, regional president of U.S. Bank. In addition, the husband and wife pair of Skip and Melinda Smyser will share the floor at one of the speaking events. Mr. Smyser is a lobbyist in governmental affairs and former finance chairman of the Romney for President Campaign in Idaho, while Mrs. Smyser is an Idaho State Senator.

The Idaho Stampede Young Leaders program will be based on paid membership, with space limited to just 150 people. The membership will include one Rustler section season ticket for all 24 home games, inclusive of season ticket benefits, access to all of the speaking events, which take place prior to mid-week games, refreshments at each speaking event, and one pre-game 'Chalk Talk' with the coaching staff of the Stampede.

The dates are Wednesday, December 8; Friday, January 7; Thursday, January 20; Wednesday, February 16; and Wednesday, March 16. Dates are subject to change.

The fee is $325 with flexible payment plans available.
