
Stampede Slip at the Buzzer to Springfield

BOISE, Idaho, February 20, 2013 - Springfield forward Willie Reed made a tip-in off of a missed Kris Joseph shot to propel the Springfield Armor to a 107-105 win against the Idaho Stampede. Reed had 13 points and six rebounds.
Idaho (10-19) was led by Durrell Summers, who had 30 points, six rebounds and four steals, including a game-tying three-pointer with 7.8 seconds to go in the game. It was Summers' lone three-point attempt of the night. Justin Holiday added 21 points, seven rebounds and three steals, while Josh Owens had 12 points and Coby Karl added 11 points.
Kris Joseph had 24 points for the Armor in coach Bob MacKinnon's return to Idaho after coaching the Stampede in 2009-10. Dennis Horner had 15 points and Carleton Scott added 14.
The game featured four ties in the final 4:42, and saw both teams shot 46 percent or higher. The Armor (10-21) outrebounded Idaho by just one (46-45), while the Stampede made three more free throws (23-20). Overall, there were 12 ties and seven lead changes, with a combined 100 points in the paint and three individual technical fouls in the tightly contested game.
