Stampede signs Rubberboy, Laker Girls

BOISE, Idaho (November 2, 2005) Opening night for the Idaho Stampede is Saturday, Nov. 19, and The Rubberboy will be part of the lineup at Qwest Arena that night. The world famous contortionist has been signed to perform for the CBA franchise on opening night and again on Monday, Nov. 21. The Rubberboy highlights 25 nights of halftime entertainment planned by the Idaho Stampede this season.
Among the national acts coming to Boise during the season are the Los Angeles Laker Girls, the Memphis-based Beale Street Flippers, and the popular magical act Quick Change. Olga Pinchienko, formerly of Cirque du Soleil, and Squatch, the mascot of the Seattle Sonics, will also be part of the entertainment this season.
"It's a Stampede tradition to give fans a variety of high quality and sometimes off-beat halftime shows, and this season will be no different," said the team's President and General Manager John Brunelle. "The combination of national and local acts assure that we offer âSomething for everyone' at a Stampede game."
