
Stampede Add Eric Chenowith To Roster

BOISE, Idaho, March 15, 2008 - The Idaho Stampede announced today the acquisition of center Eric Chenowith. He is expected to join the team tonight, as the Stampede travel to take on division foe Utah Flash.
Chenowith played for Idaho during the 2005-06 season when he averaged 12.0 points and 12.7 rebounds. He holds the Stampede single-season record for most rebounds, grabbing 595 boards during the 2005-06 season. Chenowith also holds the record for rebounds in a single game with 29.
The 7-1, 270 pound center played at Kansas University and was drafted by the New York Knicks in the 2nd round (43rd pick overall) of the 2001 NBA Draft. Chenowith has had NBA contracts with six different NBA teams, but has never appeared in an NBA game.
Idaho and the Flash tip-off tonight at 7:00 pm in Orem, Utah. The next home game for the Stampede will be Friday, March 28, against Utah.
