
St. Louis CITY SC Loan Defender Selmir Pidro to FC Zlín

St. Louis City SC News Release
ST. LOUIS - St. Louis CITY SC have loaned Bosnian defender to Czech First League club FC Zlín through June 2024.
"We wish Selmir good luck during his loan to Europe," Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel said. "He will have a great opportunity to get more minutes at a competitive level and help continue his professional growth. FC Zlín is a competitive club in the Czech First League, who has a deep history and recently won the league title."
Pidro, 25, has appeared for both CITY SC first team and NEXT Pro team in 2023. The Bosnian defender started and played the full 90 in both U.S. Open Cup matches, while also appearing in two MLS regular-season games. He also recorded eight starts with CITY2, tallying two assists and helping the team to six wins.
