Bradley Carnell

On whether there just wasn't enough time to respond after allowing a goal...

Sure. I mean, we had a lot of time to, I felt -- for the first 15, 20 minutes, I don't know, I thought we created quite a few good looks there, Tom. And, you know, we take one of those chances, whether it was from the set piece or whether it was from the run of play. I thought we were in the game. You know, I think we prepared well for the game. I thought, yeah - we were on the front foot for pretty much a chunk of the half, all the 40 minutes. But like I said, the quality in this Dallas team is really high. And when you give up some moments in transition, Ferreira and company will hurt you.

On how weird today was and whether it affected the performance...

No, I thought the travel was on point. You know, wheels up to wheels down was an hour-fourteen, you know, which is really good. We can accommodate for that and compensate that. We had a really good rhythm, got in early. From about 11 o'clock in the morning, we had a normal matchday routine, which was awesome. You know, it was really good. Yeah, I don't think it played a role into anything of our preparations. We had a really good warm up. We started the game really well. We controlled the game for most parts. And yeah, so if we go away here at 0-0, that's the only thing that bugs me, right -- to play 40 minutes and do all this and invest so much in terms of the logistics, you know, not to walk out of here with a point, at least, and another clean sheet. You know, that's the most frustrating thing.

On how the match fits into the bigger picture...

Yeah, I mean, listen, the way we track the blocks and how many games we track, this game falls into a couple of weeks ago. So, you know, that was kind of done and dusted already. We had moved on and right now we're in, you know -- I know we lose this game and it falls into this calendar on this day, but I mean for us, you know, in terms of the cycle, yeah, the next game is on Sunday. The next game is Galaxy. And it's disappointing. It's frustrating, you know, but I don't want any bad negative energy in the locker room. I don't want any bad negative energy in and around the team. So, from that point of view, we have to, you know, knowing this was a once-off hopefully -- in terms of to play a game so many weeks later and to continue to gain from this. And again, they had different lineup, you know, so obviously, they bring in different guys, two different new players in the team. So, you know, we weren't, you know, we have a fit and healthy squad, so we didn't we didn't need to tinker too much and change too much. But, you know, these little things are all ingredients. Either it works or it doesn't, and today it didn't work.

Tim Parker

On how being so removed from the first half and his first yellow card affected his play...

I mean, it's something to keep in mind. You don't want to pick up a silly second yellow in those instances. But I mean, it's a unique scenario that we haven't found ourselves, or at least I haven't found myself in before. So, it wasn't the first one for me tonight to go at that.

On the value of scoring first...

Yeah, I think obviously we pride ourselves on getting off to good starts, scoring that first goal. The race to the first goal is always the plan, but it's not always going to happen. Obviously, we only had a 40-minute game, so we weren't really able to recoup from it. And that's kind of the way it played tonight.

On what he thinks they can take away from the match to prepare for LA Galaxy with...

Like I said, the way we started the game, I thought we started really well. I think we have to be tighter in transition moments. A little bit more aggressive, and then, can we find those final balls to kind of get those final finishes and finish off our attacks because we don't want to give away transition moments. We want to finish the attacks with goals.
