Squadron to Face Rip City, Stockton at NBA G League Winter Showcase

Birmingham Squadron News Release


BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, schedule for the 2023 edition of NBA G League Winter Showcase is set, the team announced Monday.

Birmingham will take on the Rip City Remix on Tuesday at the Orange County Convention Center with tip-off set for 4 p.m. CT. The game can be seen on ESPN+ and this is the first meeting between Birmingham and Rip City.

The Squadron play again on Thursday with tip-off against the Stockton Kings set for 5:30 p.m. CT and the contest can be viewed on the NBA App or NBAGLeague.com. Birmingham is 2-3 all-time against Stockton, with the last meeting coming on Jan. 22, 2023 in Birmingham, a 122-104 Kings victory.
