
Spurs Three-Game Homestand Includes Black History and Women's Night, Los Raros and First Responders Night

AUSTIN - With a three-game homestand this week, the Austin Spurs have a variety of events planned, including Black History and Women's Night, an appearance from San Antonio Spurs legend and NBA Hall of Famer Manu Ginobili, Los Raros Night and First Responders Night. The Spurs will host the G League Ignite featuring projected top 2023 NBA Draft pick, Scoot Henderson, on Wednesday, Feb. 8, and Friday, Feb. 10. Austin welcomes The Birmingham Squadron to town on Saturday, Feb. 11.
On Wednesday, Feb. 8, Austin will host its annual Black History and Women's Night with a focus on Black women in business. There will be a pregame panel starting at 4:30 p.m. with engaging conversation, networking, and a chance to win prizes.

Mrs. Rose Smith CEO and Founder of Black Women in Business
Ms. Samantha Simmons, Spurs Sports & Entertainment, SVP People & Culture
Dr. Tamela Saldana, City of Austin Assistant Director Small Minority Business Department and Acting Civil Rights Officer
Mrs. Monique Parker CEO of Blow Candle Co. and Founder of Little Bit of Good
Also on Wednesday, Spurs legend and NBA Hall of Famer, Manu Ginobili, will be on hand to share stories about his career and answer questions from fans. Austin Spurs General Manger and former teammate of Ginobili, Brent Berry, will moderate the conversation. Anyone with a ticket to the game will be eligible to sit in. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the conversation starting at 6 p.m.
Friday's game will be the final Raros night of the season. The Raros game-jerseys worn will be signed and auctioned on DASH, with all proceeds benefitting the Mexic-Arte Museum. Along with a $3 beer night, the first 300 fans will receive a Raros themed pool noodle.
On Saturday, the Spurs will celebrate First responder's night, presented by Acadian Ambulance, honoring local police, fire fighters and EMS members. Prior to the game, there will be a court of dreams game featuring the Austin PD versus Austin FD. Afterwards, Spurs Sports Academy will host a clinic for the children of the first responders.
Saturday will also be Manu Ginobili bobblehead night where fans can purchase bobbleheads on-site or guarantee a bobblehead with any ticket priced $39 and up here.
