
Spurs Re-Assign Cory Joseph to Austin Toros

SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 17, 2012) - The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have re-assigned guard Cory Joseph to the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League.
This is Joseph's third assignment with the Toros this season. He has appeared in two games in Austin, averaging 12.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.0 steals in 35.5 minutes.
The former UT Longhorn has appeared in nine games for the Spurs, averaging 2.1 points and 1.4 assists in 7.2 minutes.
Last season Joseph had three stints with the Toros appearing in 14 games, averaging 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.29 steals in 32.9 minutes, helping guide the team to the 2012 NBA D-League championship.
