CEDAR PARK, TX - The Austin Spurs (1-1) evened the series with the Texas Legends (1-1) with a 127-122 victory in the second of a double-header in Austin.
The Spurs took the lead early and built up a double-digit gap before the end of the first. Texas went on a 25-13 run in the second and finished the half up 65-60. The third quarter was dominated by the visitors who found their largest lead of the night up 13. With four minutes to play the home team regained control and had an answer for all of Texas' baskets to even the season series 1-1.
Jaden Hardy led all scorers with 33 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists while McKinley Wright IV added 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists. Tyler Hall had another big night off the bench finishing with 18 points, and James Banks III had a career-high 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Tyler Dorsey rounded out the double-digit scores with 11 points, 2 steals.
The Spurs were powered by Chaundee Brown Jr. with 29 points, 10 rebounds while Charles Bassey added a second double-double off the bench with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
