
Spurs Assign De Colo and Thomas to NBA D-League's Toros

SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 21, 2013) - The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have assigned guard Nando De Colo and forward Malcolm Thomas to the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League.
This will mark De Colo's third assignment to the Toros this season. In two games in Austin, he has averaged 30.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 4.5 steals in 38.0 minutes. He has appeared in 10 games this season for the Spurs, averaging 2.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 7.9 minutes.
The assignment will mark Thomas' second stint in Austin this season. In two games with the Toros, Thomas has averaged 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 4.5 blocks in 35.5 minutes.
Both players will be available Saturday night, Dec. 21, when the Toros host the Delaware 87ers at 7:30 p.m. inside the Cedar Park Center.
