Sportsnet Nationally Broadcast Game, Jersey Auction & Fan Appreciation March 17th

March 14, 2018 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release

The Niagara IceDogs have an exciting end to the regular season coming up this Saturday March 17th against division rivals the Mississauga Steelheads, as we begin to gear up for a great playoff run. The game on Saturday will be nationally broadcast from coast-to-cost on Sportsnet for all hockey fans to enjoy with festivities kicking off at 3:30 PM.

During the game, the Niagara IceDogs will be wearing specialty themed St. Patrick 's Day jerseys and after the game the jerseys will be auctioned LIVE with the help of IceDogs season ticket holder and auctioneer Luke Pasmore of Luke's Auctions. 100% of the proceeds raised in our live auction will go to support Crohn's & Colitis. This will be the only chance for fans to get their hands on these premium specialty jerseys. We are hoping to break our previous record of over $15,000 raised in donation money. In order to participate in the live auction, join us in Sec 105 at the end of the game. Bidding will start at $200. The winning bidders can pay by CASH, Debit or Credit at the end of the auction.

The jersey raffle is not the only record we are looking to break Saturday. For one game only our 50/50 jackpot will be a guaranteed $5,000, something fans will not want to miss.

To go along with the festivities of Saturday afternoon, the game is also our annual fan appreciation game. We will look to celebrate the success of the 2017-2018 regular season and kick off the party of the 2018 OHL playoffs which will begin late next week. During this time we have tons of surprises and giveaways as well as the memorial cup on site for fans to interact and take pictures with.

This will be a game that fans will not want to miss, in what is sure to be a sold-out playoff bound atmosphere.
