Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Shreveport Sports opening night has been postponed again. After the rainout on Tuesday with Grand Prairie, the two teams were scheduled to play at 10:05 Wednesday morning, but that game was moved to a 6:05 pm doubleheader start. However, because of the ten inch rainfall that hit the Shreveport area Tuesday night, Fair Grounds Field was still unplayable Wednesday evening. Now, Shreveport and Grand Prairie are scheduled to play a doubleheader Thursday starting at 10:05 am. The third game of that series will be made up when Grand Prairie returns to Shreveport May 23-25.
