Sporting Kansas City will kick off a six-game slate in the month of July when the club hosts three-time Canadian Championship winners Vancouver Whitecaps at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park.

The club will honor the service and sacrifice of military families with the sixth annual Sporting Salutes theme night on Saturday and will cap off the festivities with a post-match fireworks show. Tickets for the match are available at SeatGeek, including the Americana Pack, the Coca-Cola Friends & Family 4-Pack and the Sporting U Pass.

Saturday's showdown will be broadcast live on Apple TV in English and Spanish for MLS Season Pass subscribers (sign up for a one-month free trial ). In addition, local radio coverage will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM with streams in the Sporting KC app and all of the action will be shown by pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network.

Major League Soccer and Black Players for Change - an independent organization of Black MLS players, coaches and staff working to bridge the racial equality gap in soccer and society - collaborated with Black artist Gianni Lee to design the 2023 MLS Juneteenth-inspired "The Seeds We Plant. The Flowers We Share" collectible jerseys. The limited edition Sporting KC jersey is signed by players and being auctioned off to raise money for the Black Community Fund, whose mission is to strengthen black communities in Kansas City through grants, resources, scholarships and giving. Fans can bid on the collection at MLSauctions.com until 9 p.m. CT on Wednesday and, as a new addition, a commemorative patch was designed to complement the jersey art. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase patches and numbers on the Black Players For Change website.

Sporting Kansas City will host the annual Sporting Legends 3v3 Tournament from July 15-16 at Swope Soccer Village for boys and girls teams in U8 (2015) through U13 (2010) age groups. Friday is the deadline for teams to register with all teams consisting of up to seven players to compete in 24-minute matches.

After prevailing against North Texas SC on penalties on Sunday, Sporting KC II will continue the MLS NEXT Pro campaign when SKC II hosts Whitecaps FC 2 at 6 p.m. CT on Sunday at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kansas. Tickets for the Western Conference match-up are on sale at SeatGeek.com and fans can follow @SportingKCII on Twitter for updates throughout the season.
