NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club (10W-5L-5D, 35 pts.) returns home to GEODIS Park to host D.C. United (7W-8L-5D, 26 pts.) at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday with limited tickets still available at nashvillesc.com/tickets/. Nashville SC owns a 7W-1L-2D record at GEODIS Park this season and is one win shy of tying airs own record for home wins in a season. The Boys in Gold have outscored their opponents 19-6 this season at GEODIS Park across all competitions and have not lost a match at The Castle since March 25.

Reigning 2022 MLS MVP Hany Mukhtar has settled into GEODIS Park in 2023, as the German has recorded eight goals and six assists at the Castle, including an active stretch of six consecutive home matches registering a goal or an assist. The current MLS Golden Boot leader with 13 goals also ranks first in goal contributions (20).

At 0.80 goals against average, Nashville SC is the best defensive side in the league having allowed the fewest goals (16).

With his 90 minutes played against Columbus Crew, Nashville SC midfielder Dax McCarty surpassed Chad Marshall for the second most in MLS history by an outfield player (McCarty 35,890; Marshall 35,843).

Earlier today, Nashville Soccer Club announced that goalkeeper Ben Martino has been selected to participate in the Goalie Wars Exhibition at the 2023 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T 5G on Tuesday, July 18. Footage of Martino's reaction to being selected can be found here.

Martino has participated with Nashville SC's MLS NEXT Pro affiliate Huntsville City FC this season, making eight starts for Huntsville City FC this season, with four wins, 18 saves and a goals against average of 2.13.
