Sporting Kansas City (1-3-0, 3 points) will host rivals Real Salt Lake (3-0-1, 10 points) at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park. Tickets are available online from match sponsor SeatGeek as the teams meet for the first time since last November when the sides went head-to-head on Decision Day and the Western Conference Semifinals.
Saturday's showdown will be locally televised on 38 The Spot with three hours of coverage beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT in addition to a national television audience on UniMas and TUDN, as well as a live stream on Twitter.
Argyle Ace presented by Mazuma, a fundraising raffle that features weekly prizes and a progressive cash jackpot, has returned for the 2022 season with half of all proceeds again going directly to The Victory Project. Fans can participate online at ArgyleAce.com in advance of this week's drawing on Tuesday with the jackpot currently over $21,000.
A new edition of The Sporting KC Show will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB at 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday with hosts Nate Bukaty and Aly Trost. The Sporting KC Show Podcast is available on Spotify, iTunes and SportingKC.com , giving supporters a weekly destination to catch up on club storylines, player achievements, guest interviews and more.
Last month, Sporting Kansas City unveiled the club's new secondary jersey for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Fans can place pre-orders online at MLSstore.com, with 20% off available on orders over $25 until 10:59 p.m. CT on Tuesday with the code BOOT20.
Sporting KC winger Marinos Tzionis has joined the Cyprus Men's National Team ahead of the country's match-up with Estonia at 12 p.m. CT on Thursday in the first leg of the UEFA Nations League play-out series. The second leg will be played Tuesday, March 29 in Cyprus.
Three Sporting Kansas City Academy teams will continue their MLS NEXT campaigns this weekend. The U14's will travel to Texas to play San Antonio FC on Saturday before facing Total Football Club on Sunday. The U15's and U17's will travel to Ohio to play FC Cincinnati on Saturday before taking on Columbus Crew SC on Sunday. Fans can follow @SKCAcademy on Twitter for in-game updates throughout the MLS NEXT season.
Sporting KC II will kick off the club's inaugural season in MLS NEXT Pro at 5 p.m. CT on Sunday against the Colorado Rapids 2 at the University of Denver. Sunday's match will stream live on mlsnextpro.com and in-game updates will be available from @SportingKCII on Twitter .
