Sporting Kansas City Look to Get on Track against Seattle

Sporting Kansas City will continue their extended road trip to start the 2011 MLS season on Saturday as they travel to face Seattle Sounders FC at 9:00 p.m. CT at Qwest Field in Seattle. The match-up against Seattle will be Sporting Kansas City ‚¬â„¢s eighth of 10 regular season matches on the road to start the season in the lead-up to the club ‚¬â„¢s home opener at state-of-the-art LIVESTRONG Sporting Park on June 9th.

Single-game tickets for all MLS home matches at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park went on sale Monday via TicketMaster.

Sporting Kansas City will also play the thirdmatch of the 2011 Reserve League schedule on Tuesday, away to Chicago Fire at 11:00 a.m CT. The match against Chicago will be the team ‚¬â„¢s first since defeating Real Salt Lake by a 2-0 scoreline on May 3rd.

Sporting Kansas City (1-5-1) is coming off a 4-1 loss at first-place Los Angeles in their last match. Forward Kei Kamara and Teal Bunbury are tied for fifth in Major League Soccer in goals, each with three through seven matches so far this season.

Saturday ‚¬â„¢s match will be shown live on KSMO-TV, beginning with a 30-minute pre-game show at 9:00 p.m. CT. Fans can also join a live chat during the match on SportingKC.com.
