Spokane added to the lead in the eighth, as Garia led off with a triple and scored on a Paulino wild pitch.

Boise had a chance in the ninth, as Jeimer Candelario and Willson Contreras singled to start the frame, however, Josh McElwee struck out Rock Shoulders, Xavier Batista, and Shawon Dunston Jr. to end the contest, picking up his first save.

Shawn Blackwell tossed four shutout innings, allowing just two singles, to earn the win, with Roa going 2-for-3 with three runs scored.
