Spokane Chiefs News Release
Through funds raised in the 2022 Chiefs Fight Cancer Jersey Auction presented by Inland Imaging, and specialty t-shirts, Inland Imaging and the Spokane Chiefs raised $6,000 for Every Woman Can, a local grassroots organization made up of survivors, advocates, and warrior volunteers dedicated to helping the women who are in their treatment journey, those who are living with or who have experienced cancer and, those families and loved ones of those we've lost who live on in our memories.
"The Spokane Chiefs organization creates such a great experience for us. From the planning meetings to the actual night, their team is exceptional and committed to serving our community," shares Deb Pike Barnes, Founder and Principal of Every Woman Can. "We're grateful."
"We're thankful to work with Every Woman Can and Inland imaging to help make an impact in the lives of people in our community who are affected by cancer," Chiefs Director of Community Relations Alex Costanzo said. "This disease touches just about everyone, and we're proud to make a difference in any way we can."
The Chiefs wore specially designed Chiefs Fight Cancer themed jerseys on Saturday, February 26th in a dominant 7-1 win over the Tri-City Americans. Fans were given the chance to win one of the game worn jerseys in a blind auction throughout the course of the game. A portion of the auction proceeds went to Every Woman Can, who seeks to support our mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers until breast cancer, and women's cancers in general, don't affect one more person.
