Spitfires Acquire Defenceman Brandon Devlin

Windsor - Windsor Spitfires Vice-President and General Manager Warren Rychel announced this afternoon that the Spitfires have acquired 17-year-old defenceman Brandon Devlin from the Barrie Colts in exchange for Windsor's 2nd round OHL Priority Draft pick in 2013 (recently reacquired in Jack Campbell deal) and Windsor's conditional 15th round pick in 2017.

"Brandon is a strong 2-way defenceman (6'2", 200lbs) with unlimited potential," Rychel said. "He will fit nicely into our future plans."

Devlin, originally Barrie's 3rd round pick in 2010 (55th overall) scored 3 goals last season for 12 points in 64 games (78 PIM) and currently has 3 points in 2011-12 with 1 goal in 16 games. Brandon will be in Windsor's lineup when the Spitfires travel to Erie to face the Otters this Friday, November 11th, 2011.
