
Spirit Midfielder Christine Nairn Called up to USWNT

BOYDS, MD. (Oct. 16, 2015) - Spirit midfielder Christine Nairn will join her Spirit teammates Ashlyn Harris, Crystal Dunn, and Ali Krieger on the USWNT Victory Tour stops vs Brazil in Seattle, WA on October 21 and in Orlando, FL on October 25.
Nairn, 25, has two career caps with the USWNT and scored a goal in an international friendly against Canada in 2009. She was also a member of the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Champion team.
Nairn appeared in all 20 regular-season matches for the Spirit in 2015, which included 19 starts. She recorded five goals and four assists.
The Washington Spirit will return to NWSL action in the spring of 2016. Season tickets are now on sale.
