
Spirit Lose Road Match-Up to Knights

The Saginaw Spirit dropped their first regular season game of the season to the London Knights by the score of eight to zero on Friday night. The Spirit resume action Saturday night in Owen Sound.
The first period was tightly contested and saw zero goals scored with both goaltenders making key saves early. In the second period, London opened the scoring early with a tally off the stick of Seth Griffith. Eight minutes into the second, London Knights rookie Max Domi scored his first OHL goal and would add two more later in the contest for the hat trick. London goaltender Michael Houser earned the shutout in goal for the Knights.
