Spirit Game Washed Away

June 1, 2003 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
North Shore Spirit News Release

LYNN – The North Shore Spirit game vs. the Brockton Rox, scheduled for Sunday, June 1 at the New Fraser Field, has been cancelled due to heavy rains and unplayable field conditions.

Last night's game was cut short due to rain, but because five full innings had been played, the game was official. The Rox lead the Spirit 1-0 when a rain delay was called and were subsequently the game winners.

The Spirit ticket policy for postponement is as follows:

Anyone holding a ticket for the June 1 game may exchange it at the Spirit ticket office on Western Avenue for a ticket of equal value to any subsequent game of the 2003 home regular season, subject to availability. Tickets may be exchanged at the box office in advance or at the gate on game day. This policy can also be found on the back of each Spirit ticket.

The Spirit ticket office can be reached by calling 781-592-0007. Information is also available on the Spirit Web site at www.northshorespirit.com.

The North Shore Spirit will travel to New Jersey to face the New Jersey Jackals June 2-4 and return home on Thursday, June 5 to begin a seven-game homestand. Catch all Spirit action on the flagship station of the North Shore Spirit, WESX 1230 AM.
