
Spirit Conclude Training Camp with Three Exhibition Games on the Horizon

(Saginaw, MI) The Saginaw Spirit wrapped up their eighth annual training camp this weekend, further solidifying the team's roster in anticipation of the approaching season. The camp was presented by your local Meijer stores, with support from Blue Lakes Charters and Tours and Four Points by Sheraton.
Team White took game three of their scrimmage series against Team Blue Friday, by a score of 13-2. Rookie Vince Trocheck tallied four goals for Team White during the game, for a total of seven goals in the series. Team White's victory gave them a 2-1 decision in the three game series.
The Spirit headed to Brighton, Michigan Saturday night for an exhibition match-up against the Plymouth Whalers. The Spirit battled to the Whalers to a 7-2 loss in the contest, with Tyler Murovich and Dylan Fitze notching the Spirit markers. For a full game recap, please visit PlymouthWhalers.com.
The Spirit take on the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in back-to-back, home-and-home exhibition games this coming weekend. The Spirit will head to Sault Ste. Marie Friday, September 4 for a 7:30 PM match-up then return home for a 4:00 PM contest at TheDow Event Center on Saturday, September 5. Tickets for the home exhibition game on September 5 are on sale now!
The Spirit wrap up the pre-season with a exhibition game against the Sarnia Sting on Thursday, September 10 at 7:30 PM, in Sarnia.
