MEQUON, WI- The Lakeshore Chinooks (8-10) got out of a four game losing streak on Friday night when they took down the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (9-8).

A low scoring a fare for the second straight night the Dock Spiders were the first team to get a run.

In the 4th inning Chris Ayers (Indiana State) extended his hit streak to 6 games with a single. Andrew Bullock(Western Carolina) was the next batter up and reached on a walk brining up Jacob Adams (Ole Miss). In his third game as a Dock Spider Adams was able to drive in Ayers when he lined one past the infield for his first RBI of the season giving Fondy a 1-0 lead.

After Konnor Ash (Missouri) retired the side in the 5th for the home team, the Lakeshore offense would come alive. The Chinooks were able to grab two runs in the inning taking a 2-1 lead over Fond du Lac. One inning later Lakeshore would also tack on a run increasing the lead to two runs.

The bottom of the order for the Dock Spiders Troy Black (Kentucky), Dayton Provost (Oklahoma State), and Brett McCleary (Iowa) led things off in the 7th inning with three straight single. For Black he finished the night 2/4 and extended his hit streak to 6 games. Fellow Hawkeye, Mitch Boe reached on a fielder's choice which drove in Black. Despite a late push the Spiders would have nothing to show for on the scoreboard the rest of the game.

Fond du Lac will be at home for the next six games with the first being tomorrow vs. Green Bay Bullfrogs for Superhero Night w/Spider-Man & The Flash Appearance. It is also TV Giveaway Presented by Sam's Club. First pitch is at 6:35 PM.
