SPHL Announces Suspensions

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced the following suspensions:

Fayetteville's Ryan Hand

Fayetteville's Ryan Hand has been suspended two games for his actions in Game 164, Fayetteville at Columbus, played on Thursday, March 6. At 16:29 of the second period, Hand was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct under Rule 42.5, Charging.

Hand will miss Fayetteville's games against the Mississippi RiverKings on March 7 and 8.

Fayetteville's Brandon Richardson

Fayetteville's Brandon Richardson has been suspended two games for his actions in Game 164, Fayetteville at Columbus, played on Thursday, March 6. At 5:41 of the third period, Richardson was assessed a minor penalty for slashing, a misconduct and game misconduct under Rule 39.5 for directing an obscene gesture at the game official.

Richardson will miss Fayetteville's games against the Mississippi RiverKings on March 7 and 8.

Fayetteville's Emery Olauson

Fayetteville Head Coach Emery Olauson has been suspended one game for his actions in Game 164, Fayetteville at Columbus, played on Thursday, March 6. At 19:39 of the third period, Olauson was assessed a game misconduct under Rule 39.5 for throwing a water bottle in the direction of a game official.
