ROSTER MOVES: The Astros on Monday assigned C Yanier Diaz to the Space Cowboys from Double A Corpus Christi. He was hitting .316 (38x96) with nine home runs and 48 RBI in 57 games with Corpus Christi. At the time of his promotion, Diaz was second in the Texas League with 48 RBI, second with 77 hits, fifth with 123 total bases and 10th with a .316 average. The Astros also assigned OF Alex McKenna and C Cesar Salazar from the Space Cowboys to Corpus Christi.

JULKS SMASH: Corey leads the Space Cowboys and is tied for third in the Pacific Coast League with 15 home runs. He's also third in the league with 31 extra-base hits and is 10th with a .534 slugging percentage. He has set a new career high in home runs through 59 games this season, surpassing his 14 home runs in 85 games with Double A Corpus Christi in 2021. Julks' 10 May home runs were the most in the Pacific Coast League. His .769 slugging percentage last month also led the PCL. He was named the Space Cowboys' May Player of the Month.
