Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers return home to open a six-game series against the Round Rock Express at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on a $2 Tuesday...The Dodgers own first place in the Pacific Coast League and have a four-game lead ahead of second-place El Paso in the East Division standings.

Last Game: The Reno Aces erased an early 5-0 deficit, responding with 10 runs and sending the Oklahoma City Dodgers to a 10-6 loss in the series finale between the teams Sunday afternoon at Greater Nevada Field. The Dodgers jumped out to a 5-0 lead in their first at-bat of the day. Jake Lamb hit a three-run homer and Jake Amaya added a RBI single as the first six OKC batters of the game reached base before an out was made. Later in the first inning, a sacrifice fly by Omar Estévez gave the Dodgers a 5-0 advantage. Reno quickly started chipping away at the OKC lead, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning and one run in each of the third and fourth innings to trim OKC's lead to 5-4. The Dodgers made it a 6-4 game via a bases-loaded walk by Estévez in the top of the fifth inning. Reno then took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning when Dominic Miroglio connected on a grand slam and Jake McCarthy brought in another run on a RBI triple for a 9-6 Reno lead. The Aces scored their 10th run of the game in the seventh inning as they snapped the Dodgers' four-game winning streak.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Ryan Pepiot (5-0) seeks his team-leading sixth win of the season in tonight's series opener...Pepiot won his last start June 15 in Reno and is tied for the second-most wins in the PCL. He allowed one run and three hits over five innings, with three walks and five strikeouts as the team improved to 9-0 in Pepiot's starts this season...Over his last four outings with OKC, Pepiot has allowed three runs and 11 hits over 19.1 innings, and he has 24 strikeouts against seven walks...He now owns a 1.77 ERA over 10 appearances (nine starts) with OKC and has 60 strikeouts against 19 walks in 45.2 IP. Among PCL pitchers with at least 45.0 IP, Pepiot ranks first in ERA and opponent batting average (.182) and third with a 1.05 WHIP...Pepiot has split time between OKC and LA this season. In his three starts with LAD, he's allowed four runs over 11.1 innings while holding opponents to a .154 average with 13 strikeouts. However, he has also allowed 11 walks. Pepiot made his ML debut in Pittsburgh May 11 with 3.0 scoreless innings...He was named PCL Pitcher of the Month for April as he went 2-0 in five starts with a league-best 1.66 ERA, allowing 14 hits with 29 K's over 21.2 IP and held opponents to a .182 average. He also received weekly PCL honors after making two starts during OKC's first series of the season versus Albuquerque...Pepiot was selected in the third round of the 2019 MLB Draft out of Butler University, becoming the program's highest-ever draft pick...Tonight is second outing of the season against the Express. Pepiot started June 2 in Round Rock and held the Express to one run and two hits over 4.2 innings with seven strikeouts and three walks (ND).

Against the Express: 2022: 8-4 2021: 16-13 All-time: 154-125 At OKC: 69-61 The Dodgers and Express play their third series of the season and third in seven weeks, but first of 2022 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark...The Dodgers enter this series with an 8-4 record in the season series to date, most recently winning a six-game set at Dell Diamond, 4-2, May 31-June 5. The teams exchanged shutouts in their first two games of the last series and the Dodgers posted wins in three of the last four meetings...Through the first 12 games of the season between the teams, Miguel Vargas has a team-best 18 hits and 14 RBI. Pitcher Beau Burrows is 2-0 against the Express with 19 K's...The teams had a wild first series in Round Rock May 10-15, which OKC won, 4-2, winning four straight games in the middle of the series. OKC recorded its largest shutout win in the team's Bricktown era (since 1998) with a 19-0 victory May 12 and Yefry Ramírez became the first OKC Dodger and first pitcher throughout the entire PCL to throw a nine-inning shutout since 2018. Six different players homered in that same game for the first time in the team's Bricktown era. In series finale May 15, OKC lost a game when scoring at least 13 runs for just the fifth time during the team's Bricktown era and for the first time since 2007, as Round Rock won, 14-13...The Dodgers have won five of the last six season series between the teams.

Life At the Top: The Dodgers sit in first place in the Pacific Coast League with a 41-25 record and can match their season-high mark at 17 games above .500 with a win tonight. Although the Dodgers' four-game winning streak came to an end Sunday, the team has won six of the last eight games, is 10-3 in the last 13 games and is 12-4 in the last 16 games...The Dodgers have won four straight series and are 9-1-3 through their first 13 series of the season, with their lone series loss going to Reno in OKC in late May...Tonight the Dodgers will look to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time since a three-game skid May 26 (G1)-May 27. They have followed up each of their last six losses with a win in the next game.

On the Lamb: Jake Lamb hit his team-leading 15th home run of the season and his third homer in the last two games Sunday afternoon. He also drew a walk and finished with three RBI as he moved into the team lead with 48 RBI this season and tied for the team lead with 38 walks. Lamb also extended his hitting streak to a career-best 11 games, going 18-for-43 (.419) with three homers, six doubles, 12 RBI and 11 runs scored. The streak is tied with Michael Busch (active) and Zach McKinstry for the longest hitting streak by an OKC player this season and is tied for the second-longest active streak in the league...Lamb has also reached base in 15 straight games - tying his longest on-base streak of the season. He has also reached base in 25 of his last 26 games as well as in 40 of his last 42 games. Since April 24 (42 games), Lamb is slashing .335/.453/.639 with 12 homers, 11 doubles, 32 walks, 39 RBI and 34 runs scored.

Simply Amayazing: Jake Amaya went 2-for-3 with a team-high two walks and a RBI Sunday as he has now hit safely in four straight games and has collected an RBI in five consecutive games. Over the four-game hitting streak, Amaya is 8-for-16 with two homers, 11 RBI and three runs scored. Over his five-game RBI streak, Amaya has 12 RBI and is one game shy of the longest RBI streak by a Dodgers player this season. The 12 RBI were tied for the most by any player in the PCL last week.

Busch League: Michael Busch had Sunday off but extended his hitting streak to 11 games Saturday, recording his first three-hit game with OKC and going 3-for-4 with a double, walk and two runs scored. During his hitting streak, Busch is 15-for-47 (.319) with six extra-base hits and nine RBI. The streak is tied for the longest active streak among Dodgers players and is tied for the second-longest active streak in the league. It is also tied with Zach McKinstry and Jake Lamb (active) for the longest streak by an OKC player this season...Over his last eight games, Busch is 12-for-33 (.364) with five extra-base hits...He is one game shy of matching his season-long and career-long hit streak, as he hit safely in 12 straight games May 8-20 between Double-A Tulsa (seven games) and OKC (five games).

Getting Offensive: The Dodgers scored five runs in the first inning Sunday, marking the third time in the last four games the team has scored at least five runs in an inning and the 16th separate inning in which they have done so this season. It was the team's highest-scoring first inning since June 15, 2019 at El Paso (six runs)...The Dodgers have scored at least six runs in 10 of the last 12 games (90 R) and have homered in eight straight games...The Dodgers lead all of Triple-A with 332 walks and a .373 OBP, while their 437 runs scored and .834 OPS are second and their .274 AVG and .461 SLG are third...The run total, OBP and OPS each ranks second overall in the Minors.

Clearance at JMart: Jason Martin did not play Sunday but drove in a game-high four runs Saturday, going 2-for-5 with a home run and a double. It was his second game of the season with at least four RBI, as he had collected five RBI May 24 against Reno in OKC...Martin is on a season-best 10-game hitting streak, going 15-for-38 (.395) with four home runs, two triples, three doubles and 14 RBI. He has now driven in at least one run in seven of his last eight games and in eight of his last 10 games...During the previous series in Reno, Martin went 7-for-18 with four extra-base hits, eight RBI and eight runs scored...Martin ranks tied for first in the league with five triples and also ranks among the league's top six in runs (3rd, 45), SLG (5th, .570), extra-base hits (T-5th, 28), OPS (6th, .959) and RBI (T-6th, 45).

Walkabout: The Dodgers and Aces combined for 19 walks in Sunday's game - the most total walks in any OKC game this season - with the Dodgers drawing 10 or more walks for the seventh time this season, but the second time they've lost when doing so. The team has drawn at least seven walks in three straight games (24 BB) and at least five walks in four straight games (29 BB). The Dodgers' offense leads all of Triple-A with 332 walks this season and ranks fourth overall in the Minors...On the other hand, Dodgers pitchers issued nine walks Sunday just a day after allowing no walks Saturday. The pitching staff has allowed at least seven walks in five of the last eight games and (50 BB) and at least four walks in eight of the last nine games (54 BB). The 314 walks allowed by the Dodgers this season are second-most in Triple-A.

Not Enough: The five-run lead held by the Dodgers in Sunday's loss was the team's largest lead in a loss this season and largest since Aug. 28, 2021 against Las Vegas. In that game, the Dodgers led, 9-4, after seven innings before the Aviators scored six runs in the eighth inning in a 10-9 win at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark...By scoring six runs in a losing effort, the Dodgers had a streak of 12 straight wins when scoring at least six runs and 13 straight wins when scoring at least four runs come to an end. Prior to Sunday, the Dodgers had scored just eight runs in their previous four losses combined.

Around the Horn: Drew Avans collected a hit, a walk and scored a run Sunday as he has reached base in 21 of his last 22 games with a plate appearance. Since May 26 (21 games), Avans is slashing .338/.455/.563 with 24 hits, 19 runs and 14 RBI. He has hit safely in six of his last seven games (10x28)...OKC has homered in 14 of the last 15 games, tallying 22 total homers during the stretch. The Dodgers have gone deep in eight straight games (12 HR), matching their longest streak of the season with a home run, first set May 5 (G1)-May 12...Following a 3-for-26 slide, Miguel Vargas is 5-for-13 with three walks over his last three games...The Dodgers have lost back-to-back series openers and are 6-7 in series openers this season, including 4-3 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. They are 1-1 in series openers against Round Rock.
