Southern League Announces Year-End All-Star Team

MARIETTA, GA - The Southern League of Professional Baseball Clubs announced today the 2005 year-end All-Star Team as voted upon by the league's field managers, radio broadcasters and print media.

The 2005 year-end Southern League All-Star Team is as follows:

The Southern League will announce the 2005 on-field awards on Friday, September 2. The on-field awards will include the Most Valuable Player, Most Outstanding Pitcher and Manager of the Year. The Southern League Batting Champion, ERA Leader and Award of Excellence will be announced on Tuesday, September 6.
