South Bay Lakers Acquire Zach Norvell Jr.

South Bay Lakers News Release

EL SEGUNDO - The South Bay Lakers have acquired Zach Norvell Jr., it was announced today by General Manager Nick Mazzella.

Norvell Jr. has appeared in 12 games (two starts) for South Bay, averaging 13.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 24.7 minutes per game. He scored in double figures in eight games, including three games with 20+ points.

The rookie guard appeared in six preseason games with Los Angeles, averaging 11.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steal per game, and across seven summer league contests with the Lakers he averaged 12.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

He is expected to join the team for the MGM Resorts Winter Showcase in Las Vegas where they will face the Lakeland Magic on Thursday, December 19 at 2:30pm from the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
