Nashville Sounds News Release
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Today's scheduled 2:00 p.m. finale of a four-game series between the Nashville Sounds and Omaha Royals at Greer Stadium has been postponed due to rain.
A makeup date for the game has yet to be determined.
Tickets for today's game (May 3) may be exchanged for tickets of equal or lesser value, pending availability, to any remaining 2009 Sounds regular-season home game. Please visit the Greer Stadium box office to exchange your tickets.
The Sounds travel to Des Moines, Iowa on Monday to begin an eight-game road trip that includes a pair of four-game series against the division-rival Iowa Cubs (AAA-Cubs) and Omaha Royals (AAA-Royals).
Right-hander Nick Green (1-2, 4.70) will start Monday's 6:35 p.m. CT series opener against the Cubs and face Iowa right-hander Randy Wells (3-0, 3.13).
The Sounds return home on May 12 to open an 8-game homestand against the Reno Aces and Las Vegas 51s.
