Nashville Sounds News Release
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Sunday's scheduled 2:05 p.m. series finale between the Nashville Sounds and Memphis Redbirds at Greer Stadium has been postponed due to heavy rains throughout Middle Tennessee. It marked the second consecutive postponement for the clubs.
The game will be made up as part of a 6:05 p.m. CT doubleheader on Thursday, June 17.
Nashville travels to Round Rock, Texas on Monday morning to open an eight-game road trip that also includes a stop in Albuquerque.
Right-hander Marco Estrada (1-0, 2.74) is scheduled to take the hill for the Sounds in Monday's 7:05 p.m. CT series opener. Round Rock will counter with left-hander Wesley Wright (2-0, 1.79).
Tickets for today's game (May 2) may be exchanged for tickets of equal or lesser value, pending availability, to any remaining 2010 Sounds regular-season home game. Please visit the Greer Stadium box office to exchange your tickets.
