
Sounders FC Waives Forward Kenny Cooper

SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC today announced that it has waived forward Kenny Cooper.
Cooper came to Seattle via a trade with FC Dallas on December 13, 2013. The eight-year veteran appeared in 22 matches for Sounders FC last season, recording three goals and four assists. He added six goals in four Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches, earning Player of the Tournament honors as the club won its fourth title in six years.
Following last weekend's road draw with league-leading FC Dallas, Sounders FC returns to the Xbox Pitch at CenturyLink Field for a home contest against the Houston Dynamo on Saturday, April 4 (7:00 p.m. PT / Q13 FOX, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM).
