United (2-1-0, 6 points). Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

"D.C. are a really experienced team. They have five or six players over 30 years of age who know the league inside and out," said head coach Adrian Heath. "They've gone from being the worst team in the league two years ago to winning the Supporter's Shield last year, so they've obviously brought some good players in who are very experienced. But, I watched their game against LA and I thought that we match up quite well in certain areas. We know that it's going to be difficult, we know that we'll have to play well to get a result, but I honestly think that we can go and get a win on Friday."
Orlando enters the game against Eastern Conference foes D.C. United after an inspiring comeback effort against the Montreal Impact to produce a 2-2 draw on the road, despite missing seven players due to international call ups and several more to injuries.
City fell behind early on in the match when Ignacio Piatti and Jack McInerney converted for the Canadians. However, Orlando's Brazilian pairing up front yielded dividends as Pedro Ribeiro and Kaká both scored in a two-minute span to level the scoreline.
Currently sitting in fourth place, a win against D.C. would place Orlando atop the Eastern Conference tables.
D.C. United sits in second place in the east, after defeating reigning MLS Cup Champions LA Galaxy at home for the first time since 2008, stemming from a dramatic finish from veteran striker Chris Pontius. United's sole loss this season occurred during their only road game so far, as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena.
