Sounders FC Season Ticket Members to be Featured in Numbers on Back of 2015 Jerseys

SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC has announced that Season Ticket Members will have the opportunity for personal images to be displayed on numbers 0-9 on player jerseys during the month of August in the 2015 season as part of a league-wide initiative to honor fans.
"We're excited about the opportunity to add even more value for our MatchPass members and provide an exclusive platform for them to be rewarded as part of team and league history through this initiative," said Bart Wiley, Chief Operating Officer of Sounders FC. "We look forward to thousands of Season Ticket Members sharing this moment with our club."
All 2014 Sounders FC Season Ticket Members can log-in to the MatchPass website to redeem this opportunity until December 19. Details will be provided to redeemers on photo uploading logistics in January. The custom jerseys are being featured in August league-wide and additional purchasing information will be available in early 2015.
"With MLS taking a fan-facing and innovative approach with this Jersey Program, the MatchPass tie-in was a logical choice for the offer," said Taylor Graham, Senior Director of Business Operations. "Rewarding our loyal fans is part of the MatchPass mission and we're excited to extend an opportunity for our fans to become even further engaged in our club."
MLS is the first league to utilize this platform, which is provided by Playing2. The Mexican National Team, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are among several teams in other countries that have used this platform to bring their fans closer to the game.
