SEATTLE, WASH. - After playing to a scoreless draw against Los Angeles FC last weekend, Seattle Sounders FC (2-1-1, 7 points) travels to face Sporting Kansas City (0-2-2, 2 points) on Saturday, March 25 at Children's Mercy Park (5:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
Seattle currently sits in third place in the Western Conference, tied on points with LAFC but trailing in goals scored. SKC sits in 13th place in the Western Conference with two points and is currently looking for its first win of the season, falling to Portland and Dallas and drawing with Colorado and LA Galaxy.
The two sides have met 25 times in the regular season since Seattle joined MLS in 2009. Seattle holds a slight 11-10-4 advantage over Sporting, including a 5-5-2 record at Children's Mercy Park.
Following the trip to SKC, Seattle travels to take on the LA Galaxy on Saturday, April 1 (4:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, FOX, iHeart Media, El Rey 1360 AM).
