
Sounders FC Adds Andrew Weber on Loan from Phoenix FC

RENTON, WASH. - Sounders FC has added goalkeeper Andrew Weber on loan from Phoenix FC of the USL-Pro, the club announced today. Per Major League Soccer and club policy, terms were not disclosed.
Weber, 29, has made 14 appearances for Phoenix FC this season with a 1.48 goals against average. Weber played for Sounders FC during the 2012 season, making three starts in league play and five starts across all competitions. A five-year MLS veteran, he previously played for D.C. United and the San Jose Earthquakes prior to joining Seattle last season.
Sounders FC visits the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
