Sound Tigers To Help Hurricane Relief This Sunday

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the team mascot Storm will take part in a fundraiser to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina at the SportsCenter of Connecticut in Shelton this Sunday, September 18th.

Proceeds from this Sunday's open skate at the SportsCenter's Rinks at Shelton will be donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund. In addition to the appearance by Storm, fans will receive a voucher good for one free Sound Tigers ticket with every admission purchased to this Sunday's open skate, which will run from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
