WHAT: The Philadelphia Soul Band & Drumline are taking to the streets of Philadelphia to spread
the word about the Soul's July 5 Divisional playoff game. The Band will provide musical entertainment
to excite the people of Philadelphia about Soul football and encourage fans to buy 2008 playoff tickets.
The Band will march throughout Center City to find out how much "Soul" Philadelphia really has.
WHO: The Philadelphia Soul Band & Drumline. The Band & Drumline is made up of young,
enthusiastic, and talented musicians from across the Philadelphia and tri-state area. Their mission is
to support the Soul in winning the Arena Football Championship and providing an energetic atmosphere
for Soul fans of all ages.
WHERE: The Band will begin playing outside of the Seven Penn center building, located on the corner of 17th and Market streets. From there, they will march down Market Street making their way into Love Park on JFK Boulevard. The Band will then make a stop at City Hall and play on the square for a few minutes. From City Hall, the Band will march back up Market Street and the Liberty Place towers.
