
Somerset Patriots Welcome Back Pitchers Jason Anderson and Paul Bush

Bridgewater, NJ - The Five-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced the signings of right-handed pitchers Jason Anderson and Paul Bush.
Anderson appeared in one game for Somerset during the 2007 season before signing with the Philadelphia Phillies organization and reporting to Triple-A.
Anderson has Major League experience with the New York Mets, New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians.
Anderson last played at the Major League level for the Yankees during the 2005 season, where he was 1-0 in three games played. He has a Major League career record of 2-0 with 19 strikeouts in 38 innings in 32 games pitched.
Anderson has nine seasons of Triple-A experience. He has a minor league career 53-46 record, a 3.59 ERA, 49 saves, and 696 strikeouts in 845 innings pitched in 452 games pitched.
Bush had a 1.62 ERA with 22 strikeouts in 16.2 innings pitched in nine games for Somerset during the 2009 season before signing with the Yankees organization and reporting to Double-A.
Bush also has time in the Atlanta Braves organization, including two seasons at the Triple-A level in Richmond, before joining the Patriots.
He has a career 3.29 ERA and 471 strikeouts in 446 innings pitched in 190 games.
