Somerset Patriots Fan Fest Set for Saturday, April 9th

The Five-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced that Patriots Fan Fest will take place at TD Bank Ballpark on Saturday, April 9th from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Patriots Fan Fest is a FREE ADMISSION event and includes a chance for fans to meet and get autographs from Patriots manager Sparky Lyle and Patriots players.

This year young Patriots fans will be able to sign up for two exciting programs. Dancers will be able to be a part of the first-ever Patriots Junior Dance Team, which will perform before four fireworks shows during the 2011 season. Kids 6-15 will be able to interview to become the Patriots Kid CEO for the season and learn different parts of the team's business including promotions, public relations, ticketing, operations, and merchandising.

Young fans will be able to participate in carnival games and activities, as well as be entertained by clowns, face painters, and Sparkee and Slider. Mascots from throughout the area will also join Sparkee for the event.

Kids can sign up to join the Somerset Sluggers Kids Club at the ballpark. All kids in attendance will get to run the bases on the field.

Throughout Patriots Fan Fest, the team will provide exclusive ticket discounts for everyone in attendance. There will be a special Buy One Get One Free offer for any Sunday through Thursday game.

The event is also the first time that Season Ticket Holders will be able to pick up their tickets for the 2011 season.

The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a free t-shirt and receive exclusive discounts on merchandise.

Fans will also be able to enjoy an 1880's style baseball game between the Flemington Neshanock and the Elizabeth Resolutes.
