
Solar Bears Continue to Make Additions

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have announced that the team has agreed to terms with rookie defenseman Reggie Traccitto (pronounced trak-SHEE-toe) and rookie forward Scott Wamsganz (pronounced WHAM-ganz) for the 2015-16 season.
Traccitto, 26, ended the 2014-15 season with a two-game appearance with the Toronto Marlies after completing a five-year collegiate career (2010-15) with the University of Prince Edward Island, recording 29 points (10g-19a) and 44 penalty minutes in 28 games in his final season. In 120 games with the Panthers, the native of Oakville, Ontario, tallied 97 points (37g-60a) and 165 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-0, 207-pound rearguard began his professional career during the 2010-11 season with the Ontario Reign of the ECHL, appearing in eight games and posting one assist before beginning his collegiate career.
Prior to turning pro, Traccitto played for the Niagra IceDogs and London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, accumulating 65 points (27g-38a) and 262 penalty minutes in 190 games.
Wamsganz, 22, recently completed his collegiate career (2011-15) with Colorado College. During the 2014-15 season with the Tigers, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound forward put up a career-high 19 points (8g-11a) and 53 penalty minutes in 33 games for his senior campaign.
In 103 career collegiate games, the native of Anchorage, Alaska totaled 29 points (12g-17a) and 83 penalty minutes.
