Allen, Texas - The defending ECHL Kelly Cup Champion Allen Americans announced today that the club has signed forward Dyson Stevenson for the upcoming season.

"Dyson is a power forward and a big hitter," said Allen Americans Head Coach and GM Steve Martinson. "He played a big role facing our opponent's top line in the playoffs. He's also very solid defensively and has good hands."

Stevenson joined the Americans late in the 2014-2015 campaign and played a key role in the Americans championship run, scoring 8 points in 23 playoffs games and bringing a physical presence to the Americans lineup.

Stevenson played in 46 games last season with Gwinnett, where he had 16 points and 144 penalty minutes. He also played in six American Hockey League games last season, combined with Portland and Bridgeport.

The Americans raise the Kelly Cup Banner to the rafters on opening night, October 16th at Allen Event Center. Season Tickets are on sale NOW at www.allenamericans.com. Call 972-912-1000 for more information.
