
Solar Bears Bring Back Alexandre Carrier in Trade with Grizzlies

LOVELAND, Colo. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that the club has acquired forward Alexandre Carrier from the Utah Grizzlies to complete the Nov. 27 trade that sent forward Johnny McInnis from Orlando to Utah.
Carrier (kair-EE-ay), 25, had five points (1g-4a) and 38 penalty minutes in 18 games with the Grizzlies this season. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound forward is no stranger to the City Beautiful, as he suited up for Orlando in 16 contests during the 2014-15 campaign. In 185 career games, Carrier has posted 32 points (11g-21a) and 398 penalty minutes.
Prior to turning pro, the native of St-Elzear, Quebec skated for the Val-d'Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, where he recorded 28 points (8g-20a) and 231 penalty minutes in 141 games.
The Orlando Solar Bears continue their fifth season of ECHL hockey when they visit the Colorado Eagles on Friday, Jan. 6 at 9:05 p.m. ET at the Budweiser Events Center.
