Snoop Dogg Plays Normal?
July 17, 2018 - Frontier League (FL)
Normal CornBelters News Release
There's Nothing Normal about Snoop Dogg. But on September 13, 2018 Snoop Dogg will play Normal anyway. Normal, Illinois that is. And if playing Normal wasn't enough, playing The Corn Crib should cap off the "not so Normal" list of venues Snoop has been to showcase his talent.
The Corn Crib is home of the Normal CornBelters Professional Baseball Team of the Frontier League. Indigo Road Entertainment, promoter of the event, specializes in putting artists in ballparks for lovers of outdoor entertainment and bringing world class productions to fans. Snoop is certainly no exception. He has sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide. Nothing Normal about that. Music lovers of all types seem to have a love for Snoop Dogg who has won the hearts of mainstream America, like fans in Normal. You could say that although he himself may not be Normal...he is a household name that rolls off the tongue. Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and... Snoop Dogg!
Snoop is no stranger to entertaining his fans at ballparks across the country. He's played stadiums from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Lake Elsinore California and every time, the crowds come out to enjoy his "No Limits" kind of performance.
The Corn Crib in Normal is next in line to host Snoop Dogg's Big-Time performance in a small-town atmosphere. "The Ballpark is the perfect type of place to bring fans together for a late summer celebration of music" said CornBelters Owner & President Steve Malliet, who has had great success with Country Music events but insisted that a show like Snoop Dogg's would be highly anticipated and the first of its kind at The Corn Crib.
Tickets for Snoop's performance go on sale to the general public this Friday, July 20th at 9:00 a.m. and start at $45. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting normalbaseball.com or through the ticket link at IndigoRoadEntertainment.com. Fans may also purchase tickets through the MICU Box Office at The Corn Crib located at 1000 West Rabb Road in Normal or by calling 309-454-2255.
