Beloit Sky Carp News Release
Kane County defeated the Beloit Snappers for the third straight game as Beloit fell 12-8. Kane County had a 6-0 lead after scoring one in the first and five in the third.
Beloit would cut the 6-0 lead in half after Vinny Rottino hit a three run home run in the bottom of the fourth. The Cougars answered with three runs of their own in the top of the fourth as they led 9-3. Beloit would then cut the lead to 9-6 after scoring three more runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Kane County added a run in the sixth, the seventh and the ninth. Beloit would add a run in the seventh and in the ninth as Kane County won 12-8.
